FesSTIS -Festival Sains Teknologi & Inovasi Selangor 2010

Sempena Fetival Sains Teknologi dan Inovasi Selangor 2010 (Fesstis 10) yang berlangsung di Kompleks PKNS bermula 11 - 13 Jun 2010, kumpulan KIK eWave dari Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, UiTM telah mendapat tempat ketiga bagi Peringkat Penciptaan Kegunaan Awam dalam Anugerah Inovasi Selangor 2010.

Festival yang bertemakan 'Rakyat kreatif Selangor Inovatif' ini telah menarik ramai pencipta inovasi. Objektif penganjuran FesSTIS'10 pada kali ini adlah untuk meningkatkan kreativiti para belia Selangor bagi menghasilkan produk lebih bermutu yang dapat dikomersilkan di peringkat tertinggi.

Informasi dalam bidang sains, teknologi dan inovasi dapat dikongsi dan dimanfaatkan secara lebih dekat dan efektif. Menjadikan Negeri Selangor sebagai negeri ICT (Information & Communication Technology) terulung di Malaysia seterusnya menyumbang kepada kadar pertumbuhan ekonomi negeri.



Sempena pameran FesSTIS 2010 di PKNS , Shah Alam , Selangor, kumpulan e-WAVE telah diwakili oleh En Azmir bagi sesi temuramah bersama WebTV Selangor

Anugerah Khas Timbalan Naib Cancelor, Pameran IID 2010

7th Invention, Innovation, Design ( IID 2010 )

SHAH ALAM 14 Jan. - Kumpulan KIK e-WAVE kami sekali lagi telah mengharumkan nama Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak dengan memperolehi Anugerah Khas Timbalan Naib Cancelor semasa Invention, Innovation & Design (IID) 2010 diatas kejayaan menjadi Juara Keseluruhan Anugerah Y.B Menteri Pangajian Tinggi 2009 yang lalu.
Upacara penyampaiannya telah disempurnakan oleh Timbalan Menteri, MOSTI bagi anugerah khas manakala penyampaian pingat emas yang lain disempurnakan oleh Naib Canselor dan Timbalan Naib Canselor, UiTM.
Manakala Kumpulan KIK SOVLE telah memenangi pingat gangsa bagi kategori staf.
Alat pengesan virus cirit-birit 'RoNo Quick' ciptaan pensyarah Fakulti Sains Kesihatan, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Dr. Zuridah Hassan menggondol dua anugerah pada Majlis Rekacipta, Inovasi dan Rekabentuk (IID) 2010 yang berlangsung di kampus UiTM di sini hari ini.
Dua anugerah itu ialah Anugerah Utama IID 2010 dan Anugerah Berlian Kategori Staf.
Kejayaan itu membolehkan Zuridah yang bertugas di kampus UiTM cawangan Puncak Alam membawa pulang hadiah wang tunai berjumlah RM10,000, piala iringan dan sijil.
Anugerah disampaikan oleh Timbalan Menteri Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi, Fadillah Yusof dengan disaksikan Naib Canselor UiTM, Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar.
